Biography

Linh Phan is a Ph.D. student in Economics at Emory University and U.S. Permanent Resident. She graduated with Distinction from University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam before earning her M.Sc. degree from Baylor University where she was awarded as Outstanding MSc Graduate & Baylor Data Scholar. She worked as Senior Audit Associate at PwC Vietnam.

Linh’s current research is on incorporating multilayered network information to the understanding of firm dynamics and firm growth. She works on and maintain databases on the AWS Cloud, where she performs data munging, storing, retrieving, and creates visualizations along with statistical modeling.

Beside economic research, Linh enjoys painting & drawing as well as cooking Vietnamese food.
